Looking for a restaurant between Woodland Hills and Encino for two girlfriends to celebrate a birthday lunch. Healthy faire would be nice. Good food, good service, nice ambiance, alcohol isn't necessary. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

We leave June 13 and need meal recommendations for Bologna and Verona. Breakfast, lunch and dinner ideas greatly appreciated. We prefer places that don't require suits and ties for the men but the men will don jackets if the food warrents it. Thank you!

Looking for great food in Paris. My mother will be celebrating her birthday (86) while in Paris. It can be casual to somewhat dressy. Price is not as important as the quality.
We are interested in breakfast, lunch and dinner recommendations. While in Italy we would love recommendations for Bologna and Verona. We will have a car and can get to Modena as well. As long as the food isn't spicy all types of recommendations will be entertained.

I have liked the original Brents. The new one in Westlake Village has been a huge disappointment. The chicken soup with matza ball tasted like the chicken was waved over the water. When I complained to the waiter he said the chicken soup there is just that...water and chicken. The blintzes were cold 2nd time I went. The veggie burger smothered in chili was very good. So far it's not worth waiting in line for.

Desperately searching for good restaurant for ladies lunch in Santa Monica...good food, quiet enough to catch up on life, etc.

In December we had two excellent dinners at a French Restaurant. I think it is called Palme's, but I am not sure of the spelling. Their food is consistently excellent and the staff delightful. Fairly small and intimate.

We are looking for suggestions for breakfast and lunch in Carmel Valley. Dinner plans are for Bernardus both nights at their two different restaurants. Has anyone eatten at their restaurants recently?

So far I have dinner reservations at: Albion River Inn, Rendezvous, and Cafe Beaujolais. We will definitely drop by Piaci for lunch! We were disappointed that the Skunk Train's Wine and Crab day was cancelled. Our whole trip was planned around that day, but with these meals and wine tasting during the day it should be a wonderful trip!

I am excited by everyone's recommendations. Esterlina requests apointments for tastings and I have contacted them. The list of wineries so far sound great. Our trip next month will be greatly enhanced by all your advice. Thank you so much! We don't leave for our driving trip from Thousand Oaks to Mendocino until mid Jan. so I will continue checking for new postings.
