Carry-in Thanksgiving and X-mas ideas

Going out no longer works for the holidays, we are not yet set up to host, and cooking at m parents' house is too stimulating (Alzheimer's). Please suggest restaurants (not Clydes), grocery stores (not Giant), caters, etc. that we can bring over and warm up. No dollar restrictions, would prefer keeping it fairly traditional ie ham or turkey, needs to taste good for the rest of us, and in MoCo or HoCo.

Thanks!

Breakfast etc. in Santa Rosa, Healdsburg vicinity

I am saddened to learn that our beloved Bolovo has closed. Now we must find another breakfast venue in same general area-Santa Rosa, Healdsburg, Guerneville, Bodega etc; please provide suggestions. Have car will travel, staying in Santa Rosa from Monday evening to Friday afternoon.

Lunch and dinner suggestions also welcomed. We have a return rezzie with Barn Diva, will also return to Rosso, Diavola, and Big John's. Have been to Zin, Scopa, Zazu, Girl & Fig, and El Molino.

Also Thanks for the Emeryville and Gilroy recs. Turns out we will be in Santa Cruz rather than Gilroy so we will be hitting up Seabreeze Cafe.

Thank you!!!

Breakfasts East and South Bay

Will be in area late September, among the places we are staying is Emeryville and Gilroy. Please provide some breakfast suggestions for each locale. We will be traveling up the coast from Gilroy to Santa Rosa on a Monday, does that offer other opportunities? Thank you!

Good place for cocktail reception in DC

We had our reception there 5 years ago Sept. I couldn't have been more pleased with the hotel and staff! Got lots of compliments from people saying best reception ever because it was cocktail style without all the hoo haa.

Good to know! Will have to get over there to try it.

There are lots of discussions on the board about the Inner Harbor, general consensus is that there isn't much. You should search (top right corner of the page) for Fells Point and Inner Harbor. And hopefully others will chime in.
