Favourite Chinese?
Thanks -- I'll try the dim sum at Lotte Furama and compare to Kam Fung. Looks like I'll be able to hit some of these places for take out, as I live in the Plateau.
Favourite Chinese?
The only Chinese restaurant I eat at regularly is Maison Kam Fung for dim sum. Besides that I'm at a loss for where to go for good Chinese. Any suggestions?
"cuisine du terroir"
I'm looking for the best restaurants in Montreal with menus that feature regional ingredients. Wasn't that the mandate of Les Chevres? Well, now that Les Chevres has closed, what else is their in a similar vein?
Best Tapas in Montreal?
Any suggestions for the most authentic tapas in Montreal? Does anyone have first-hand experience of Pintxo's on Roy?
Thanks...
Cabotins dans la mercerie
Has anyone eaten here? It's starting to get some press -- in Canadian food mag Tidings most notably -- but is relatively unknown to Montrealers. Probably because of its location: east of Pie-IX on St. Catherine St.. Food is excellent unostentatious French-bistro fare; the decor is hectic & ecclectic, like the set of a French-language kid's TV show. Service can be uneven, though staff is friendly. I've had two great meals here; anyone else?
