Downtown Denver on Saturday

Thanks for all the tips. We are actually having the rehearsal dinner at the Wynkoop Brewpub so I'm glad it's chow-approved!

Downtown Denver on Saturday

I'm going to be in Denver for a wedding this weekend and am looking for breakfast and lunch recommendations for Saturday. I have only two requirements:
1) It is within walking distance (up to a mile give or take) from my hotel which is on 16th St. between Champa and Curtis (The Marriott Courtyard Downtown)
2) It be less than $15-20 for the meal. The cheaper the better, really, although I will pay more for really really excellent food. Holes-in-the wall welcome!

Where should I go?? Thanks.

Indian Food Arrives on Columbia's Med School Campus!!

Although I can't speak for the quality of the meat dishes, the vegetarian options are quite wonderful. The palak paneer was creamy with a slightly smoky flavor, and the dal was a little spicy and very flavorful. On the whole I have found their food to be well seasoned and delicious. An entree plate that includes rice, naan, two veggie sides and a main curry will set you back $7.95. It's quite a bit of food, enough to split over two lunches. They also have what looks to be a tandoori oven and prepare the tandoori to order.

the best casolette

Thought I would reactivate this to see if anything has changed in the last year. The last in-depth thread about cassoulet was from 2003. Any good recommendations? Payard? Gascogne's? I'm willing to travel several hours for a really great one! I have been disappointed with the cassoulet offerings in Manhattan.
