Tartine cookbook - I know what I'm baking this weekend - unfortunately not morning buns
I had great luck with the gougeres - even while baking with a 3.5 year old. However, as I attempted to make their Flaky Pie Crust this morning, it was nothing but woe. There are even contradictions between their descriptive text and the recipe! We'll see how it turns, no time to turn back now.
