Have you been to Great Waters Since the Head Brewer left? Their cask program looks interesting but I have been burned to many times going there to try it again. I'm looking for a review of their beers? I think you should give them a try and report back. Hope you find great things while you are here.

Where to take some visiting Food Snobs?
Go there early, before 6 and Murray's is worth it. Cheap wine and a $23 meal. Otherwise I think that Sea Salt would be a true Minnesota experience.....Travel a little and Victory44 fits the bill....
Visiting Minneapolis Memorial Day weekend, what to eat?
I would jump on a bus heading East on University and get off at almost any of the Asian joints I prefer Cheng Heng but almost any will do.

Dining up and down University Avenue
I go there 1-2 times a week. Some things are inconsistent but all still are great. With the volume reduction it seems to make it harder to stay the same. Maybe they should have a more limited menu during these trying times.Support all the business on University.

Solo dining Minneapolis
There is a bar at Saffron. It's across the street from 112. Stop for Happy Hour, have a lamb BLT and decide if you want to stay or wander across the street. If you like dry style ribs Market is OK. I wouldn't go out of my way for any BBQ in Minnesota.

What Costco do you shop at? SLP fish isn't fresh and it would be better if they scaled the fish.

Cheng Heng has their own parking lot. The sign to get there is right at the entrance off University.

Construction started again and what a mess. Had take out from Cheng Heng, not to much of a hassle to get there. Spring Rolls, Chicken Soup and Ginger Chicken. Oh so good. The construction is hurting all the great Restaurants on University. Lets keep them in business
