I'm making the Linguine with Tomatoes and Basil from the Silver Palete cookbook and I want to serve it cold ~ any thoughts if that will turn out ok?
Suggestion for weekday lunch outside in Santa Monica
Playing hooky tomorrow and want to grab lunch in Santa Monica, sit outside and relax. No to Boa...too expensive and not great. Open to pretty much anything else. Thanks in advance for you ideas!
1st visit to Montreal
Thank you all with you wonderful suggestions! It's very much appreciated. All sound fabulous...wish I was going too :-)
If you think of anything else, they aren't going until the end of the month
1st visit to Montreal
I'm sending 4 people that work for my company to a meeting in Montreal. They will be staying at the Hyatt Downtown. Your suggestions for dinner would be appreciated! They will be there Friday night and flying home Sunday. I would love to find spots that aren't full of tourists. Nothing too expensive please. Any other suggestions for what they can do all day Saturday would alos be appreciated. We live in Los Angeles so want to stay away from anything that one could see/do in any big city. Thanks so much!!
Point Moorea Lounge??
Has anyone been to this place? I was told it was a good spot for our company holiday party. Your comments and or other ideas for Downtown LA, Silverlake or possibly Hollywood would be appreciated. Need a mid priced spot
Katsuya v. Katana - birthday dinner
Go to the Katsuya in Brentwood. Much, much better food, great cocktails, great atmosphere. You won't be disappointed
Private Room for company event in Downtown LA, Hollywood or Silverlake
I'm planning 2 company events and I need two restaurants in the Downtown LA or close by area. Everything Downtown (The Palm, Roys, Nic and Stefs etc..are way out of my price range. Any suggestions? One night is for 25 people and the other is 50 people
Thx!
Las Vegas, anyone been to Hugo's lately??
This used to be a true classic spot for fine dining in a somewhat twilight zone kind of 50's setting. Would love to know if anyone has been there lately and if the food is still as good as it used to be
Your favorite simple, yet AWESOME, dish at an LA eatery?
Soft Shell crabs at The Ivy
Anyone have any comments on the Flying Leap Cafe in Silverlake
Never been & wondering how the food is...
italian in west LA
Pizzicotto in Brentwood is fabulous! A bit too crowded with tables right on top of each other but the food & service is outstanding. I agree with Francesca, Il Moro is great as well!
Downtown LA area company holiday dinner
OK...thanks to the Chow Hound community I'm convinced that the Bonaventure Brewing company's food is not very good and not the best spot to take my staff to dinner. Any other ideas downtown that will be able to accomdate 25 people & less expensive than The Palm, Morton's, etc..
Bonaventure Brewing Company
Can anyone comment on their experience with the food there? T
