brie stuffed with mushrooms baked in phyllo dough or puff pastry. clams cooked with chorizo and garlic. oysters. cheese plate from murray's.
My favorite comfort food:
chicken adobo (filipino slow-cooked chicken), fried chicken, french fries, mac and cheese, good cheese, a solid red wine, creamed green beans, hainanese chicken, lamb, sausage and peppers, simply prepared whole fish. i sometimes crave saltines dipped in condensed milk.
My top 5 favorite restaurants:
blue hill, bao 111, casa mono, nyonya, cafe asean, breakfast cooked at home by my boyfriend. this list will change arbitrarily.
