Please help with buffet dinner menu, with numerous food restrictions.

Need ideas for an easy buffet dinner, with the following guests' food restrictions: no nuts/seeds, corn, anything too sugary, citric acid, tomato sauce, shellfish, fish, beef, berries, nothing spicy. Any ideas? Hoping to make most of it ahead of time, or something quick right before serving. Was thinking maybe of including possibly quiche, or pasta/orzo salad, or asparagus wrapped in prosciutto, or maybe even pork tenderloin? I'm all over the map here with no real focus. Any suggestions much appreciated.

El Malecon or Flor de Mayo?

Which has better basic chicken, rice, beans, plantains? Anything you especially like or dislike about either? I'm especially thinking of the 97th st Malecon, and the 101st st Flor de Mayo. Thanks.

Best restaurants between West 96th and West 110th?

Looking for restaurant suggestions between west 96th and west 110th. I posted yesterday asking about the new-ish Indian place, Aangan, on West 103rd, but haven't received any responses. Curious what people think are best restaurants in this area. Thanks.

Anyone been to Aangan Indian Restaurant on 103rd/Bway?

We are in the neighborhood and thinking of trying this (somewhat) new restaurant. Wondering if anyone has been and what your thoughts were about it. We have a newborn and don't get out much, but would like to go out somewhere new in the neighborhood. Thanks.

Corn Pudding for Thanksgiving

I think this was it. I guess, not officially corn pudding...

Extra milk? What can I do with this?

Thanks. Actually, the only who really drinks this milk is my 18mos old, so I feel a little more cautious. I'm sure I can get another day or 2 out of it.

Corn Pudding for Thanksgiving

I made it last Thanksgiving for the first time, and it was delish. Used recipe off of Food Network, Tyler somebody I think. i will see if I can find it for you.

Extra milk? What can I do with this?

Have a half-gallon of whole milk that expires in 2 days. What can I do with this? No desserts, please. Thanks!

Romantic Restaurant with Flavorful Very Good Food for about $75 per person for Anniversary Dinner?

So do you think we would like Apizz or Apiary better than USC? Would prefer to avoid crowded, noisy, and/or 20s hipster crowds. I guess USC seemed more varied that Apizz in that they had Duck and Lamb entrees in addition to pasta, chicken, fish, steak.

Romantic Restaurant with Flavorful Very Good Food for about $75 per person for Anniversary Dinner?

Thanks for replies so far--What do you think about just going for Union Square Cafe? I know it is more $$, but the menu is more varied/interesting than Apizz...

Romantic Restaurant with Flavorful Very Good Food for about $75 per person for Anniversary Dinner?

Great. Thanks. Do you remember what you had? The menu online looks like mostly pasta entrees. Are there specials?

Romantic Restaurant with Flavorful Very Good Food for about $75 per person for Anniversary Dinner?

Thanks! How would you compare Peasant and Apizz in terms of food, atmosphere, etc?

Romantic Restaurant with Flavorful Very Good Food for about $75 per person for Anniversary Dinner?

Looking for romantic-ish restaurant for our anniversary dinner. Have enjoyed Red Cat, Harrison, Little Owl, Blue Hill in past. Looked at Perilla, but it's really too adventurous for my husband. Prefer warm, smallish, cozy atmosphere to fancy or chic (not EMP, Daniel, Spice Market).

Considering:

Peasant (was there years ago when new, but can't read the Italian menu)
Il Buco (recent reviews here say no...)
Apizz (is it too much of a scene? or too noisy?)
I Coppi (have been once before, liked the atmosphere, thought it good, but not amazing)
Commerce (never been)
Cookshop (never been)

Looked at Scarpetta, but can't get reservation on the date we want.

Open to suggestions in Manhattan.

Thanks!

Tell me about Cookshop vs Commerce Restaurants.

Also considering 10 Downing....

Tell me about Cookshop vs Commerce Restaurants.

Considering both for dinner, and would love to hear opinions on food, atmosphere, etc one either or both.

Suggest cozy good food like Little Owl or Red Cat?

sorry- baby brain- didn't realize i had posted near identical post few months ago...

Suggest cozy good food like Little Owl or Red Cat?

A little out of the loop due to new-ish baby. Looking for suggestion for husband's birthday. We like cozy atmosphere and flavorful new american food like Little Owl or Red Cat. Also really like Blue Hill. Does not have to be big bang fancy bday place. Prefer West Side of Manhattan from Upper West to Tribeca, but open to other areas too. Thanks!

THIRD AVE NEAR 61ST

Primola and Parma are both good classic upscale Italian. Neither has innovative foodthough, if that's what you are looking for. Mediterraneo is a more casual.

Perry St or Blue Hill or Union Square Cafe

Loved Blue Hill- food, service, and atmosphere all outstanding. I'd say a bit more cozy and warm than USC, which I also like very much. Haven't been to Perry St.

The Harrison- Best dishes?

Thanks everyone. We had a yummy dinner with wonderful service. Both artichoke salad and crispy shrimp apps were tasty. The lamb entree was wonderful. My husband had a special. The cod entree sounded very good, except that I don't love cod...

The Harrison- Best dishes?

Going to the Harrison tonight, and wondering if anyone has favorite dishes there. Thanks.

If I like Blue Hill, Red Cat, Little Owl, what other restaurants would you suggest?

Looking for suggestion for not-a-big-deal birthday dinner, where I might be able to get reservations for next Friday. TIA.

Best apples for applesauce?

On my way to farmers' market to get apples for T-Day applesauce. Any suggestions?

Looking for simple Cornbread stuffing recipe

Thanks everyone!

Looking for simple Cornbread stuffing recipe

For what it's worth, I will cook it outside of the turkey (does that make it "dressing" vs "stuffing"?) Probably will add simple ingredients like celery, mushrooms, etc. TIA

Thanksgiving menu...looking for suggestions

I make a great goat cheese artichoke dip as an ap. 3 jars of marinated artichokes pulsed in food processor, and mix in a little olive oil and lemon zest. Then smooth 1lb goat cheese in food processor, and fold into artichokes. Add parsley and ground black pepper. Serve in bowl surrounded by endive leaves to scoop out dip.

also a great raw tart cranberry relish- 2cups cranberries pulsed in food processor w/ orange (including rind). Don't let it get mushy. Mix in sugar to taste.
