Nirvana: Burmese Fusion Food in the Castro
How strange. I lived on Grand View @ 24th for a little over three years and everyone in our household and all of our friends loved Nirvana. We dined in and got take out lots of times - we always loved it. Even now, after moving away from SF ten years ago, one of the places I miss the most is Nirvana. In fact, the reason I found this thread was because I was looking for recipes from Nirvana.
After Nirvana, I miss Tom's Peasant Pies (choc/rasp!!!), Scribbledoodles, and Hahn's Korean BBQ. Now that I live in Las Vegas, I miss San Francisco SO much. I wish I could afford to move back...and my first meal would be at Nirvana. Yum!
