Best restaurants in DEN
Did a search and didn't really find much up-to-date on what folks would consider to be the best restaurants in Denver. I realize that's pretty broad, so to narrow it, here's the situation: We're flying in next Friday afternoon and are looking for a good place to eat Friday night before driving to Cheyenne. I want great food and don't care if it's served on a hubcap (a bit of an exaggeration there). My fiancee wants a cool place with a stylish ambiance. Any suggestions on a happy medium? Any place that's both? As far as price range is concerned, I'm willing to spend (what I would consider) a lot on this dinner ... around $30/$40 per entree. Thanks for any help!
Country ham at L.A.'s grocery stores
Anybody know where I can get sliced country ham in L.A.? There are only two of us, so a whole ham would be a bit much. I live at about fairfax/3rd st., so the closer the better. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
CORNDOGS!!! Who makes the best?!
At the farmer's market at 3rd and fairfax there's a place that serves a good corndog. It's the deli right next to the coffee shop. I think they use kosher dogs, but it's been a while.
