mead in the city.....

Because I think of mead as more of a beer than a wine.

Mead in the East Village...

I work in the East Village and have been craving mead lately. Does anybody know where I might be able to find it?

mead in the city.....

Does anybody know where I might be able to purchase mead in Brooklyn or Queens? It's obvious that beer stores and supermarkets don't have it, and I haven't checked the liquor stores yet. It seems odd that to me that mead would only be available in liquor stores if thats the case.

Looking for a Brooklyn store with a stunning array of beer

I bought it there two weeks ago.

Looking for a Brooklyn store with a stunning array of beer

I find Bierkraft to be a bit pricey out of the 4 best beer stores in the city. It does,on the other hand, have a great cheese selection and you can't beat the growlers. Eagle is quite a hike for me,but they have a larger selection of non-german/belgian euro beers than the other stores. The only problem I find with Eagle is the sorry fact that you can't buy singles out of 6-packs. Eagle is also the only store in Brooklyn I've seen carry Iron City, which is a godsend. American has a great beer selection, the the price is right, and the have a better selection of glasses than the others. The store on Christie street has a great selection of American craft beers, but the glass window adds and impersonal element I'm not really fond of. I visit all 4 places, but Thrifty(American) is closest to me in location.

Vietnamese grocery store

Does anyone know where I might be able to find one,I suspect somwhere in Queens, but where?

Frozen Lychees

I'm pretty sure I saw frozen lychees at Patel Brothers in Jackson Heights 2 days ago.
