Fine Dining in DC
Going to be in DC for two nights. The last time I was there I stayed at the Mandarin Oriental and had a quick bite at the bar of CityZen.
I spend a lot of time in DC. Can some DC hounds give me some suggestions on places that would compare to Eleven Madison Park, Daniel, Per Se etc. in DC.

Going to be in uptown Charlotte in a few weeks. I know all about the steak places: Capital Grille, Mortons etc. Give me some higher end recommendations. It has been a couple years since I have stayed in uptown.
Charleston/Kiawah Trip in June
have you ever been to kiawah before? There isn't a lot to eat on the island. You really only have one shopping center, and I am not sure what restaurants they have in the shopping center. They do have a great grocery store "Freshfields" it has a wide variety
There are a lot of great places to eat in Charleston, but it is a sold 45-55 mins to downtown where you want to go.

I had two great meals at the old bouley, went to the new spot last night and I thought it was wasn't good at all. I also think the atmosphere was better in the old spot

Tasca Brava in Raleigh
Bistro 607 on Glenwood South has also closed, making way for Tasca Brava, Raleigh’s only Spanish restaurant to move into its spot. The owners of 607 can be found at the new Globe just down the street.

I was in Barcelona in May, and at every meal I had some delicious spanish peppers. They were green, and and I believe they were roasted.
If I wanted to try to recreate those back in the States does anyone have any suggestions?
