Wurst
When I was 6 years old, my family lived in Freiburg, Germany for a year. Every Saturday we would go down to the Munsterplatz (the square around the cathedral) to the farmer's market. We would always get a wurst from one of the stands. They were the greatest things...EVER.
My favorite was a reddish wurst (possibly a rotwurst of some kind) ohne (without).
All these years later, I have been looking for a wurst that taste as good as they did at the munsterplatz.
I have tried several of the wurst from the German Gourmet, but nothing seems to compare.
I am beginning to think that I have built up the wurst from my childhood in my mind, so much that nothing I try will compare.
Does anyone have any suggestions of wurst to try?
Thanks!

Dreaded IAD overnight: where to eat nearby?
I would recommend NOT going to Windy City, they close down at 5pm and you can't sit down to eat.. It would be a waste of a cab to drive out to ashburn and back to pick up a hot dog.
I always leave Sweetwater happy, but the Wegman's Store area is much closer to you.

Thank you for all the replies! Looks like there a couple places I am going to try.
I have used S&B and House to make it at home, but my wife doesn't like the smell.

Okinamiyaki in DC?
I have been to a dozen Japanese Restaurants in this area, and have never seen it on the menu. I will be watching this thread in anticipation...
I like the Hiroshima style Okonomiyaki best.
