30th anniversary. Within half hour of Acton.

Thank you for your advice. We like Gibbett Hill Grill, and I want to try the new place in Lincoln, but we're going to to do a spa getaway at Stonehedge. Dinner at the Left Bank and lots of good wine. I'll let you know how it goes.

Looking for a nice place in the burbs...don't want to deal with drive to the city. Thinking about Stonehedge in Tyngsboro, but do you know any place similar with entertainment? After 30 years we're running out of conversation.

Looking for a great restaurant in Northboro.

Just stumbled on a restaurant off 290 on our way back from Special Olympics basketball in Worcester. It's an Italian place that I've never heard of, but I had a wonderful seafood risotto and my husband had a marinated steak sandwich with gorgonzola and carmelized onions that he loved. There aren't many good places for lunch, so Giuseppi's Grille in Northboro is a welcomed find.

River Rock Grill in Maynard

I went to River Rock when it was first opened, and thought the food was bad and boring. I went back a few days ago because I heard they had a new chef, and was pleasantly surprised. Had an appetizer of carmellized onion and feta tart, with balsamic glaze, that was wonderful. If you live in the area, it's worth another try. The food has gotten much better, and the service is still wonderful.

Where for a good lunch in Maynard, Mass?

I'd recommend Blue Coyote Grille on Main St. I've only been there at night, but they're open for lunch. It's not a fancy place, but the food is good, and it's friendly.

Sprigs in Acton

We tried it for a birthday dinner, and will NEVER go back. The food is only ok for the price, but nothing you will remember, and the service is atrocious. We asked to have a steak that was supposed to be medium rare cooked a little more because it was practically cold in the middle, and the manager/owner was surly and insulting. She may be the the most obnoxious woman I've ever met. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Help me check off my must-see/must-do restaurant list!

Don't miss the Clam Box! It's New England summer food at its best. I agree with another poster who suggested Teatro. It's wonderfully loud, and the food is great.

New name, same bad food

5 Strawberry Hill in Acton has just changed their name to Sprigs. They have a new web site that claims to have a new menu, but it's the same boring food. The service has always been poor because for some reason they can't keep servers. I live in the neighborhood and have tried every new rendition...think it's time they give up.

Korean for lunch

Want a Korean restaurant for lunch northwest of Boston. Have narrowed it down to Ayer and Maynard. Is Woo Joop significantly better than Little Pusan, which is 10 minutes closer?

Wine at Trader Joe's

If you're asking which ones serve wine, the one in Acton does.
