MOIM, Korean in the slope

went tonight and sorry about the vague review (its late) but it was so beautiful and delicious! you must go - the owner is very chatty and will tell you all about everything (he goes to each table) very sweet, you can tell he is very proud and rightfully so.

overrated restaurants

wd-50: ditto on portions and bread. I mean the bread is amazing but its such an additional tease to the meals other portions.
.......and every steakhouse in Manhattan that could care less about the rest of the meal which are too many to list.

WD-50 - great food, great service, great space but.....

oh i know - i should of ordered more food! - it was that sesame wafer bread that got my appetite going - you cant shove enough of that paper thin bread in your mouth to taste it! -im used to the higher end restaurant small portions and im not a big eater, but that was the first time I felt like a slice of pizza after a meal.

at least one nonmeat entree choice [moved from Manhattan Board]

I dont claim to be vegan or vegetarian but sometimes I want to go to a fancy restaurant (for an example, such as Eleven Madison) but dont feel like having duck or fish or more braised short ribs. I wish some of the higher end restaurants had some more non-meat choices on their menu or at least one. The possibilities are endless, why is it so uncommon? Anyone else feel the same?

Vegetarian Restaurants - MSP

Also being a vegetarian, I think I have had my best meals at Lucia's, and they never make you feel funny about it - just always ask for the wine bar menu too as they will give you both menus if you ask and there is always a vegetarian option on one or the other.

try "French Meadow Bakery and Cafe". It's casual has a big selection of healthy meals and you can stay as long as you want. I'm sure they have a website - google them. We've eaten there often and highly enjoy their bread, soups and salads.

Il Cantinori

Tried this place on a recommendation from a friend. Service and food were so lousy it was laughable. How do they get away with it?

I loved this restaurant. Service was attentive and down to earth, the choices interesting unlike "mashed potatoes and onion rings" steakhouse, expensive but worth it for a wonderful tasty classy dining experience.
