Where to have a decent breakfast after picking up someone from JFK? I am picking up a friend from JFK at 6am tomorrow and want to take her to breakfast afterward. My first thought is Balthazar and I assume I can find parking in SoHo at 7am on a weekday, right? Any other ideas? I am also not opposed to Jackson Hole, but was looking for something a little nicer. |

I dunno, are they any good? |

Going to a show tomorrow night at the Brooklyn Center for Performing Arts and want to have Mexican food beforehand. Any good places in the surrounding area? I am looking for good foot, not necessarily fancy. Thanks! |

I have been there once for lunch and thought that it was eh, just alright. |

Any recs on a restaurant to take my husband for his birthday? I am treating, so preferably not Masa, but somewhere nice and no steakhouses - did that for Father's Day. Open to places that are really good and not necessarily just hip and trendy where we can possibly get a reservation in the next 2 weeks. Thanks! |

Grom Gelato? As good as advertised? It was fairly pricey. The smallest which is about the diameter of a dixie cup was $4 and change. It is good, but not good enough to offset the line and the price. But then again, I have never had gelato in Italy. |

Móle review: best Mexican in the city! Thanks for the review! As a Californian, I am always looking for the elusive good Mexican food in NYC and may have to check this place out. By the way, since you spent time in the Yucatan, skip Papatzul on West Broadway. It was not remarkable. |

Washington Heights Spanish Food Has anyone ever ordered from or eaten at Tu Sabor Latino on 161st and Broadway? Just moved and are out of the delivery range for El Malecon (wish I knew that beforehand) and looking for some decent Spanish food. |

F&B's sells them and they are pretty good. |

Best Pizza (delivery) in Washington Heights Want to order pizza tonight, but have moved out of the delivery range for Grandpa's pizza in Inwood and need a good delivery place. Prefer not to go Domino's or Papa John's route. |

Artisanal is a favorite of mine and have had great meals for brunch, lunch and dinner! Also, you can get great Korean food in the area as well. As far as eating at the game, don't expect what we have in the Bay - no teriyaki chicken bowls, garlic fries or micro brews. The stadium food here is just franks, burgers and beer. Enjoy and GO A's! |

Need a good steakhouse for Father's Day lunch that won't scowl at bringing a toddler. Kids menu not necessary, but kid tolerant definitely. Any suggestions? Thanks! |

Chelsea Market has the Lobster Box or is it called the Lobster Place? They sell lobsters. They also have a location on Bleecker. |

Inwood - Washington Heights Hounds Dining Guide recs? Fibe used to be called something else and although I have never been, every time I walk by it is empty! As far as the OC Bakery, I have only been for breakfast pastries and have repeatedly been disappointed. Most recently, I bought a fresh cherry danish still warm from the oven and expected buttery flaky goodness. Instead I got yeasty dinner roll with cherries on top. The pastry was so yeasty, I had to throw it away. And I never throw away food! Amy's Restaurant - the Chinese place, right? They are pretty good, but not spectacular, but definitely better than your uptown fried rice and chicken wing spots. |

I actually liked Sueños, but I have only been 1x and it was 2 years ago. Don't waste your time on Rosa Mexicana - they are a joke and the food is blah. I liked La Esquina a lot, but I am from California so I have different expectations for quality Mexican food. You can only find it in NY if you make it yourself! |

Craving a good seafood/lobster/shrimp/crab salad What about the Mary's in Manhattan? |

Craving a good seafood/lobster/shrimp/crab salad Where can my family and I go for lunch on Saturday that has a goo lobster roll or seafood salad of some sort that is yummy and not all mayo? Also if it has outdoor seating and a bar, that would be a plus! Thanks! |

Want to go to traditional tea next Saturday, but I only knew of the Plaza. Are there any other places in the city for tea service, and preferably one where a toddler will not be frowned upon? Thanks! |

|
|

|
|
Current Favorite Dish/Item for Less than $10? My favorite sandwich right now! The grilled chicken with roasted red peppers and mozzarella is tasty too! |
|

Current Favorite Dish/Item for Less than $10? Mambi, huh? May have to check them out. I am a huge Malecon fan though. |

Not superb, but definitely easy is the buffet brunch at Brasserie 8 1/2 on 57th between 5th and 6th. Last time that I went it was $27 and did not include a beverage (even coffee)! But it's easy and they have a nice jazz ensemble that plays. |

What do you have the most difficulty cooking? I just can't do dry beans - kidney beans, black beans, you name it. I soak them and cook them to death and they still come out "crunchy". I do the quick soak - still crunchy. I have an amazing refried beans recipe, but until I can get the beans right, it will have to wait! |

Chicago style pizza - Indianapolis "?" Doing a food theme for Super Bowl - what are regional foods of Indiana or popular foods in Indianapolis? |

In the mood for a good grilled cheese sandwich for lunch today. Where can I get a good one in SoHo/Upper TriBeCa? Thanks! |

And I forgot.... South's which is on Church probably just across the street from you is tasty as is Provence for buns. |

My current favorite is 'WichCraft on Greenwich and Beach and they have free delivery as far down as Chambers street! |

Can anyone recommend a fish market in Chinatown? I saw one on Canal and Mulberry that appeared to have fresh seafood and seemed clean, but not sure of the actual quality. Any recommendations? |
