Recommendation near Ambassador East Hotel
My wife and I are going to be in Chicago for a wedding in June and need a recommendation for a restautant on Friday when we are there
We are staying at the Ambassador East are looking for a restaurant nearby with great food. We tend to like French, Bistro, Italian. Price is not really a big deal. Anyone with a suggestion is apprecaited.
Whole Foods in Milford, CT?
I saw this weekend that the Whole Foods sign is up on the Post Road. Does anyone have any info on the progress. The last I heard was that they were waiting town approvals on the El Torrero property.
Restaurants in Stratton, VT area
My wife and I are spending a weekend in the Sttatton area (Peru, VT actually) in late October and are looking for a nice restaurant to go to for dinner. We are looking for good food and wine list, romantic setting/ambiance is a plus. Does anyone have any res, we are not at all familiar with the area.
Hartford Convention Center Eats
I am going to be at the HCC next Saturday taking an all day certificaiton exam and there is a 2 hour break for lunch. Is there anywhere nearby within walking distance for lunch?

Has anyone heard anything about the Whole Foods/Wild Oats store that is supposed to open on the Post Road? It does not look like they have made any progress on the store in months.

Yes they do. My wife gets steak often when we go out and she loves the ones at Jeffreys. They usually have at least two on the menu

My wife and I tried this recently and were not overly impressed. Not to say the food wasn't good, it was, but it wasn't overwhelming and the service leaves a lot to be desired. For the price you pay I would say it is not worth it.
If you are looking for somewhere in the Milford area to go for a special dinner, try Jefffrey's on New Haven Ave. Terrific.
UES Rec
My brother and sister-in-law recently moved into the Upper East Side and I am looking for a recommendation for a gift certificate to get them for X-Mas. I am looking for something on the UES (they live on 81st and York). Something with excellent food, somewhat hip, price is not really a factor, and almost any type of food will do. Thanks hounds for you help.
