Jade Garden Hartsdale, any info?
Has anyone been here recently? We are planning to go this Sunday. I'd love a change from Central Seafood but don't want to waste our time or money if it's not worthwhile...
Dominic's on Arthur Ave
Hi Everyone, Thanks for your replies. The reason I was leaning towards Dominic's over Roberto's was the "wait" issue at Roberto's. I like Roberto's but to have 8 people standing on a line on a chilly Sat night is not a great idea - people get restless, etc. I personally don't mind waiting when I know the place, but some of the members of this group are impatient. I heard there would be less of a wait at Dominic's and I was also hoping for less pricey, which Jim P has helped me confirm. I think I will call both places and see if we can reserve if we are 8 people, maybe that will be the solution to the wait issue.
And thanks for all the bakery advice!

Dominic's on Arthur Ave
We are planning to go to Dominic's on Arthur Ave with a group. I know they don't have a menu with prices. Can anyone tell me what the average price for dinner there is? I'd just like to make sure it's within reason for the group. Also, do they take cash only?
Finally, I hear they don't serve dessert. Any recommendations for a good place to go afterwards? On my previous trips to the neighborhood, I didn't see much beyond typical italian pastry shops - are any of them better than the others?
Thanks!
lunch, brunch & pastry
I will be in Montreal this weekend and am looking for suggestions for Saturday lunch near the Modern Art Museum, Sunday brunch near Old Montreal (or am open to another area) and a great patisserie for afternoon tea. Mid to inexpensive price range for lunch and brunch. I appreciate any suggestions!
