Portland restaurant for a gift certificate?

I have given Genoa gift certificates as wedding presents. It is a set, multi-course meal, which is special.

PDX mirugai

Can someone tell me what Japanese (or Chinese) places serve mirugai in Portland? Thanks.

I like it the food, a lot. I had delicious pork stew once and always yummy vegetables. But the menu is confusing and they tend to run out of a lot of specials early on busy nights. Sometimes they are too heavy handed with the salt. I have also had less than attentive service there and the last time one of the waitresses was surly.

I have never been for lunch or breakfast.

I have a huge craving for raw oysters. Where is the best place in PDX to eat them out?

I recently had a delicious burger and bistro fries in the bar. Yum. Really one of the best burgers I have ever had. I have eaten dinner in the main dining room several times over the last couple of years. Some dishes have been good, others less good.

PDX: BBQ or Southern for a group

I am looking for really good BBQ or Southern in PDX that can accommodate 10-12. Low BBQ won't work because we are going out on a Friday. Not sure if Cambell's is good. Is Russell St BBQ good? Is Lagniappe good? Can it accomodate a group?

Restaurant open Sundays in Clinton District (Portland)

Savoy is open. Not very fancy though.

Oregon Coast Recommendations

I love Shark's in Nye Beach. It is a tiny restaurant on the waterfront block with yummy seafood stews. They have a vey interesting submarine kitchen set up too. Nothing is fired or even sauteed--just stews and steamed shellfish and fish. Yum.
