Need recommendations in/near Rocky Hill/Montgomery for casual business lunch

Hey frogophobe, I've been to Santa Fe Grill lots of times and I think it used to be great but was wondering if it changed management or something recently because the last few times I went there the food was terrible - tasteless and just not good. I used to love it, though.

Need recommendations in/near Rocky Hill/Montgomery for casual business lunch

Thanks, all. The lunch I mentioned above was postponed, but these recommendations will come in handy for my next business lunch (or regular lunch). I particularly thought Main Street Bistro and Brothers Moon might have fit the bill.

I'll have to check out Brothers Moon - it's not too far from the office and I've heard good things. (I just wanted to avoid Princeton more for the parking situation than anything else.)

I've been to Tigers Tale, and the food was terrible (reuben sandwich messy and basically inedible, fries greasy and terrible) so I don't think I'll go there again.

But thanks anyway, for all the suggestions. This people on this forum have been oh-so-helpful the few times I've posted!

Need recommendations in/near Rocky Hill/Montgomery for casual business lunch

A couple of my colleagues are flying in from the West Coast on Tuesday and want to go out to lunch. I have to pick the place since I'm from here, but I don't know where to go. I know the offerings around here are dismal.

Our headquarters is on Rt. 206 near the Princeton Airport. I don't want to venture too far (and probably not even into Princeton proper, if it can be helped).

This lunch is a casual catch-up type of thing - we don't want fast food, but don't want a long drawn-out (or expensive) lunch, either. I've heard good things about Restaurant "one 53" on Washington Ave., but it's only open for dinner.

Any suggestions in the Rocky Hill or Montgomery area? (We can go into Princeton if there's nothing else, but would rather keep it closer to the office)

Thanks so much in advance for anyone's help!

Non-Traditional Thanksgiving Dine-in and/or Carry-out

We ordered from the Whole Foods Thanksgiving menu last year and it was so good we did it again this year. Unfortunately, it's too late to order at this point. Good luck! Let us know what you ended up doing.

Thanksgiving meal prepared & delivered in Central NJ area

Thanks for the suggestions. I've actually decided, however, to go with the Thanksgiving "Dinner for Two" that is being offered by Whole Foods. It's only $44.99 and you can also add on any additional sides that you want - I think it's a great deal.

To anybody who is interested in the Whole Foods menu, check out:

Wegmans also has a thanksgiving meal but it serves 10 - too much food for us! (That meal is $70 at the Princeton store). They also have a nice array of sides. They even have a Kosher Thanksgiving Dinner. Check out: http://www.wegmans.com/greatMeals/men...

Just thought I'd post this in case anyone is interested.

Thanksgiving meal prepared & delivered in Central NJ area

This could be a strange request, but I am searching for a place that makes Thanksgiving meals and either delivers them to you door (preferably) or has you pick the food up, either on the day of or the day before Thanksgiving.

The thing is that we are only 2 people and in my on-line searching I see that a lot of places require an order for at least an 8-person minimum. Also, ideally, I would like to be able to customize the menu. We are looking for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings, but I would like to be able to pick and choose the side dishes.

We were thinking there must be some local chef – even a personal chef who works out of his/her home – that would be able to do this for us. I live in Central NJ (between New Brunswick and Princeton). Does anyone have any suggestions for me?
