At Station Landing in Medford (Wellington Circle) not far from the Somerville District Court is Kelly's Roast Beef, Regina Pizza, Quizno's, Starbucks, Not Your Average Joe's & Qdoba. Also at Wellington Circle next to CVS is Chipotle, Boston Market, Kabab Corner (Indian) & Subway.

Cuban Sandwich
Where in the greater Boston area can I get a cuban sandwich? I'm looking for a place outside of Boston. I had a cuban sandwich at The Cheesecake Factory and it was very good. I'm now looking for other places (inside Route 128) that make cuban sandwiches.

Mt. Vernon restaurant closed 2 locations
I heard on WBZ radio today that the Mt. Vernon restaurants in Lynnfield & Revere have closed.
The Somerville restaurant will remain open. The Lynnfield & Revere restaurants closed on Sunday Sept. 11th.

The cupcakes are not too big. I also agree that $45 is alot of money for an 8" boston cream pie.

I went to the Bread and Chocolate Cafe in Newtonville 2 weeks ago. My cousin saw the boston cream pie throwdown that you also saw. They have the boston cream pie available as a cupcake or pie. The cupcakes are $5 each and an 8" pie is $45. We got 3 cup cakes to take home. The cupcakes were very fresh and I did like the pastry cream.
Local Farm Eggs - North Shore
I was at Seven Acres in North Reading last week and bought 2 dozen jumbo eggs. Their jumbo eggs are now $2.75 a dozen. The price went up 25 cents, probably due to the price of chicken feed. Their eggs do have a deep orange yolk. You can taste the difference between farm fresh eggs and store bought eggs. Seven Acres is open Tuesday-Sunday at 9am. They are closed on Monday.
Where to buy skate wing
Wednesday I saw skate fish wings at Hmart in Burlington. I have also seen them at Super 88 (Hong Kong Supermarket) in Malden.
Agave Mexican Grille in Malden -- stay away!
I haven't been to Ravi's on Highland Ave but I do know where it is. I have heard that their food is good. I either go to the Kabab Corner in Medford or the Kebab Factory in Somerville for their lunch buffet. And don't forget Regina Pizza at Station Landing/Wellington Circle in Medford. It's my favorite pizza place. I order a well done link sausage pizza.

Rosenfeld's Bagels Superb Challah
Rosenfeld's bagels and challah bread are excellent. Rosenfeld's is my favorite bagel place. Too bad the challah bread is only available on Sunday? When I get their challah I buy 2. Their challah makes delicious french toast for breakfast.

How are the rice plates at Hong Kong Eatery? The roast pork, duck and chicken rice plate sounds good. I have never been to HKE. How is their food especially their rice plates? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks

Zeppole Countdown 2010
I got a zeppole with ricotta from Modern Pastry in Medford last Friday. The zeppole's are $3.00 each. It was a pretty good size, very fresh and very good.
Cape Cod Chinese
The only Chinese restaurant that I go to when I'm on the Cape is the Double Dragon Inn on Rte 6A & Rte 28 in Orleans: 508-255-4100. I love Chinese food and it's near very good in my opinion. You can order their luncheon specials or from the regular menu. I would highly recommend Double Dragon Inn in Orleans MA.

Has anyone been to Minado in Natick for their lunch buffet? My aunt and uncle love sushi. I love buffets but I don't eat sushi. I want to take them to Minado for their lunch buffet. I will eat the non sushi items offered at the lunch buffet. How is the food at Minado's lunch buffet? Is the quality of the lunch buffet food worth the $16.95 per person price? Decent Bar Pizza Around Everett, Revere, Lynn, Salem, Peabody?
Another vote for Monte's in Lynn. I haven't been back to Monte's in a long time. I heard that they remodeled the exterior of the building. I would get a couple of cheese pizzas and a couple of pepperoni or sausage pizzas to take home.

I drove by Ebisuya yesterday afternoon. The walls are up and painted and it looks like they will be opening up soon.

Aaron's Best Kosher Turkey
Thanks for the replies. I didn't buy a Kosher turkey this year. I bought a fresh 20+ pound Shadybrook turkey at Market Basket for $.69 a pound. Maybe next year I'll try a Kosher turkey and see if I can taste a difference. I wonder if a Kosher turkey tastes salty?

Has anyone been to the lunch buffet at Gourmet Garden in Swampscott? Their lunch buffet is only served on Wednesday, Friday & Saturday according to their website. That's a little strange, I wonder why it's not available every day? Any information on the quality of their food and their lunch buffet would be appreciated. Are there better Chinese lunch buffet options in the Salem MA./Peabody area? If so, please let me know where? Thanks
