yup, after 2 years, it still sucks. The soup noodles are preboiled and the broth is so watery. They do give you a lot. Now I know why my columbia u friends used to crave chinese food when they visited me downtown.
Where to buy Shiso Plant
Helo, I am at a loss where to buy a shiso plant, not from seed in the area. I know that many Japanese have them at home, but the information is not out there for the rest of us. I am looking for Japanese and Korean green shiso, and red shiso. Also known as, perilla, "japanese basil," or beefsteak.

Affordable, quality sushi
Hatsuhana Park - I went there last week, and it was the un-hippest Japanese restaurant ever, but the you get a lot out of the menu for the lack of fashion. Decor is very rosy pink Jersey diner. It's very clean, and the staff is friendly. I guess it's a lunch place, and it's sort of hidden behind a Subway sandwich shop. The sashimi dinner set was only $24 and the fish was absolutely fresh. The best deal, was the grilled yellowtail jaw, usually restaurants give you one large piece for $10, this place gives you 3 pieces. I was a little confused, but happy. enjoy! 237 park ave btn 43/44

Do you mean not fantastic in the way that it's not interesting, the seafood isn't fresh enough, or it's not authentic? The codfish on the menu all sounds very good.
Best Thai in south florida?
Sea of Siam is terrible. They cut the vegetables in strange combinations and use very poor quality rice. A great place to go if you want to dump someone.

best damn falafel, humus, and fried israeli eggplant in FL and the US. They have it right. Ask for their hot sauce and call ahead to order. They are slow. I don't eat meat, but baby chicken seems to be their most popuar dish. The only thing is the pita is unresponsive.

You shouldn't have to pay for tap water, but at "fast" places where they use disposable cups i'm in total support of customers having to pay for extra cups or cups just for water - people always way more than they need and end up throwing it all away.

I'mlooking for fake japanese food displays you'd see in Little Tokyo in SF - like a fake bento box w/ plastic food, or a bowl of ramen - I can't seem to find much online - only sushi parts or plastic miso soup - any japanese sites w/ english? Or maybe a professional site for restaurants to order displays?

Help! My boss and I will be at a conference at the Tampa Waterside Marriott. He is a picky eater - plain steak and potatoes person, but he likes Mexican. We'll be sharing a rental car.
