Your Culinary Opinions Sought...

Just went to Ristorante Aso in April. Wasn't as special as I had hoped. 2 Michelin stars-I think not. Just an average nice restaurant. Decor with pink walls and wood chairs seems grandma feeling. (not to offend grandmas) food was very good but the assorted bread rolls were not even warm, entree plates sat in front of us 10 minutes without being cleared, and no one spoke hardly any English so it was very difficult to communicate and my daughter speaks some Japanese. all this for $300 even in Tokyo for just an ok meal. I think not. Now for a life changer Aronia de Takazawa was best meal of my life.

Jules Verne?

Other than the food, what makes these so special?

Jules Verne?

I would like someplace very special to celebrate my 50th birthday next July-great food and lifetime memorable experience.I thought the Jules Verne with the view might be the choice. Any comments for suggestions? Price no object.
