Li's Dumpling and Noodle House (Bellevue)
They gave us a 10% discount for working at that big software company around the corner, fyi.
Best Kept Secrets on the Eastside
If you haven't figured it out, I believe they are now at Spicy Talk in downtown Redmond. :)
Outstanding in the Field
I went last year to one of the Seattle dinners and thought it was an amazing event. If you're going purely for the food, I agree that going to a nice restaurant is a better "value." But for the experience, I thought it was worth it - farm tour, dining in a beautiful, unique setting (and for me, sitting near both the farm owner and winemaker!), hours of good company and fun. And our farm gave us containers to pick raspberries and a bag to take farm produce back with us.
The Pacific Northwest gives us a nice selection of local ingredients, so we saw scallops, mussels, tuna, Mangalitsa pork belly, and king salmon on the menu. I know people have complained about there not being enough food, but we had three appetizer options in addition to the 5 courses, and you could eat as much as you could get from the traveling waiters. And it must have been 8 glasses of wine.

CSA Boxes - Seattle
They stopped doing it because it wasn't cost effective or something like that. Made me sad. :(
I did Helsing Junction last year and was pretty satisfied with what I got. Full Circle is ok, but it isn't my first choice because a lot of their stuff doesn't come from their farm or even the Pacific Northwest, except for maybe a few weeks in the middle of the summer.
Best Kept Secrets on the Eastside
Preets in Bellevue for authentic Indian food
Cafe Ori for HK comfort food, especially the delicious and cheap pork chops
Tortas and tacos at the truck at the gas station at NE 24th St & 148th Ave NE
Momoya Sushi in Kirkland - best QPR for sushi I have found on the Eastside, definitely a hole in the wall place
O'Ginger in Issaquah - great, inexpensive Thai with some SE Asian dishes thrown in
Outstanding In The Field ..[New Prague, MN]
Probably too late, but for others who happen to be searching, dress was casual for the Seattle dinner. They tell you to wear shoes that are appropriate for walking around a farm.
These dinners have gotten pretty mixed reviews on these boards, so I was apprehensive, but I ended up loving the experience. I think I got 7 very full glasses of wine, all-you-can-eat seafood appetizers at the beginning (that did not count as one of the 5 courses!), and amazing courses including king salmon and Wooly Pigs pork belly. Sat right next to the farm owner and the wine people, so we had great company. At the end, the farm was generous and gave us containers to pick raspberries and bags to take free vegetables home from their stand.
Pomegranate bistro - Redmond
I definitely enjoyed the food a lot, but they seem to be almost always busy. Be prepared for a wait, and know that they won't seat you until your entire party is there.
Is there good pizza in Seattle?
There's a new place in the Crossroads shopping center in Bellevue called Pizzeria Guido that's pretty good.

Looking for total food experience in Seattle
Salumi! (Be warned, hours aren't convenient, and the line often goes out the door, but it's worth it)
