I made Gazpacho with ripe tomatoes from my garden on Monday and it tasted much better today (Friday). If it separates a bit, just stir or chuck in the blender again. I made mine with cucumber, red pepper and sherry vinegar. |

The buckwheat pancakes with apple butter at Down Home Diner have never disappointed me. Blueberry pancakes at Dutch Eating Place are normally excellent but sometimes a bit undercooked. |

Baker Street in Chestnut Hill used to make great sugar cookies in large quantities. Call first (215-248-2500) to see if the mixers have been in the mood lately to make them and I'm sure they'll put together a bag of dough for you. |
