Best noodles in the city (ramen) ^^I gotta hit Chikubu this Friday. Anyone have any info as to why Friday lunch seems to be the time that ramen is eaten most? |

Brooklyn's 67 Burger - More than burgers and all is yummy! Hitting on all cylinders? Hmppp. I had a less than perfect experience and thought that when I went there, 3 weeks after they had opened, they had a lot of kinks to work out, service and otherwise. I too live in the area and was optimistic, but was left with nothing but bad taste and some leftover plastic-tasting onion rings to show from my experience. Maybe I'll go back, but these days burger joints are a dime a dozen (read: excessively overabundant)so maybe not. |

RIP Blimpies. |

Best noodles in the city (ramen) No! I was planning on hitting it next week! F&%$#! RIP. |

River Cafe Brunch recommendations? Please help. Duck steak and eggs is bomb! |

brunch for 20 in carroll gardens or surrounding area? 20 ppl? Rent a room/have it catered/stay home. This is a very busy time of the year for brunch and weekends in general. Adding 20 ppl to a restaurant's book might make your experience less than smooth. Good luck though. |

I went there for drinks the other night, food looked great and the mid-dinner vibe was beaming but alas, all I can comment on is that it's a good place to get drunk on tequila. I plan on hitting it up for eats this week. |

Are they doing lunch? |

good Pho around Carroll Gardens/Ft. Greene/Park Slope area? If getting *really* good pho is important to you I would suggest making a trip into the city. However if you do find something of note, please post it here. |

The Historical Geography of the Taco in New York City There is one on the corner of Classon and Dekalb in Clinton Hill that every day is bustling with as many a 25 ppl. Whole families with kids playing in the sidewalk in front. |

Veal Terrine at Momofuku Ssam Bar Also: http://nymag.com/daily/food/2006/09/s... wtf? |
|
|
Veal Terrine at Momofuku Ssam Bar yeah, at Noodle Bar save for Ginger Noodles (and you would be slighting yourself if you ordered this), all the entrees contain pork. There do serve shiitake steamed buns and pickles though and there are some decent fish dishes. Man now I'm hungry (and I just had ramen at Minca tonight!)I know that if your original post was about Ssam but If your interested in in vegetarian ramen you could go to Rai Rai Ken and get the miso ramen (yum) |
|
|
Veal Terrine at Momofuku Ssam Bar If you don't eat pork you should reconsider going to Ssam late night or to Noodle bar anytime for that matter. |

Where do the starving artists eat in Manhattan? Spend lots of time at the Whole Foods food bar. |

Best noodles in the city (ramen) I went to MINCA Ramen Factory today and had a pretty good experience. I ordered the Minca Ramen. It had a very rich dark broth that was very flavorful (albeit a bit too salty). The noodles were perfect in size and texture. |

In search of the city's best Margarita I go sometimes to Radio Mexico for Margarita's (under the Brooklyn Bridge) but mostly cause there cheap. |
