I can't single out one single meal, there have been so many great dish experiences, rather than a single best meal.

Has to be cheese. Definitely cheese.

My grandmother's Time/Life Encyclopaedia of Food collection gets a lot of use, and came to me well worn. The other would be my CCA Cooking from A to Z, one of the first cookbooks I received as a gift.
