Russian food served anywhere in Pdx?

Javaman at 1432 SW 6th Ave has great Ukrainian food. Go for lunch, you'll leave satisfied. Great blini, piroshski & borscht.

Portland Street Food recommendations

It's actually called The People's Pig - and it's AWESOME. Get the Porchetta with cabbage and apples.

Russian food in greater PDX?

Seeking a place for Russian food for dinner (love Javaman for lunch - but want a sit-down, evening place.)

good Cajun food - at 28th & Burnside (Portland)

We were looking for an African restaurant I'd heard about, which appeared closed. We continued looking around for something new and wonderful to eat. WE FOUND IT!

Tapalaya - Bites of New Orleans.

My husband is a confirmed liver-hater. He stole one of my bites - the chicken livers with red pepper jelly.

The fried greentomatoes are even better than my mom's (shh- don't tell her I said so.)

Duck confit with sweet potato waffle - amazing

The gumbo is pricy (for a small portion) - but is so totally worth it.

Only complaint was that I was too full to contemplate dessert - I MUST go back!

A serendipitous find

Around The Table - in Camas. Open kitchen, tasty small plates, and awesome prices. My husband and I had a fantastic meal there - about half the price of a comparable meal in Seattle, and not too crowded.

Around The Table, 316 NE Dallas St, Camas, WA. Tel: 360-834-0171

Planning trip to OR - need recs!!

R Palate
215 SW 6th Ave
Portland, OR 97205
Phone: (503) 227-8875

Good food, nice atmosphere, good prices. Only downside is dodging all the construction on your way there.

Go during happy hour if possible and try the special drink of the day. The bartender will come up with something to please!

breakfast in seattle

Caffee Minnie's at 101 Denny Way. Everything is good - especially the omelettes. The Dutch Baby is good, but not really worth the wait, IMHO.

need a great dinner in Seattle

Golden Singha at 425 Cedar is the best food and very reasonably priced. Be sure to leave room for the black rice sticky pudding.
