Large group dining in Venice and Rome

Thank you all! These suggestions for Rome are great. Still worried about Venice where the restaurants tend to be smaller... At least, as far as I remember.

La Boulangerie, Forest Hills, NY

The omelettes are great!

Large group dining in Venice and Rome

We're traveling to Venice and Rome in a group of 19 (including kids). Would appreciate restaurant recommendations that can accommodate us, but aren't touristy.

Thanks in advance.

Brunch in Forest Hills

Definitely go to Dee's. They've got a private party room, great food, and excellent service!

Are the crabs at Clemente's in season?

Burritos in Forest Hills - Benny's/Blockheads style

We moved to Forest Hills four years ago, and still talk about much we miss Benny's Burritos on Greenwich in Manhattan. Five Burro is good, but its burritos are just a different thing. Has anyone found something in FoHi for burritos? If it delivered, life would be complete.

Tortilla Press and masa -- where to get in Queens?

Tortilleria Nixtamal is GREAT!

Are the crabs at Clemente's in season?

We went one year too early and had our only disappointing meal there. Is it time yet to go back, or is it too early in the year?

Ranger Texas BBQ (Legends) in Jackson Heights

Is Ranger still open and doing well?

Parking at Trader Joe's?

parking is free at Amish now - first hour free permanently, and first six hours free until may 2008

Last minute date

Best place for a good, last minute date?

Crab shacks - Clemente's or Cross Bay Boulevard?

We are planning to go out for crabs tonight, and wonder if we should drive to Clemente's or try one of the small places on Cross Bay Boulevard closer to home. Anyone have experience with the Queens crab shacks?

Trader Joe's - Rego Park - Update

In July the Q54 will be stopping right at Atlas Park - it currently runs up the middle of St John's Cemetary, and will be making the short detour along Cooper Ave and then 80th Street.
