this is a hard one - there's been so many! my LAST best meal was at gramercy tavern in NYC

My current drink of choice:

yarra yerring chardonnay 2004 (yarra valley, australia) and sequoia grove cab, most vintages

I really wish I could:

travel the world making a living tasting food and drinking wine (i so wish!)

porcini risotto with truffle

good runny smelly cheese and american pancakes

i cook, but not as much as i should considering how much i like food. probably 'bill's basics' by bill granger
