Toronto's Best Chicken Wings

I love spicy food. I just don't like stupid heat. With all the warnings, I would have thought that second from the top would be hot enough.... but they were not, is all I was saying. They were misleading.

Toronto's Best Chicken Wings

I really Like the Mados wings at The Rhino in Parkdale. Decent price and very tasty, and fairly consistent.

Toronto's Best Chicken Wings

The most overrated place I have ever been to. I will never eat there again. The wings were scrawny and not hot (spicy) at all, and I am not a person that eats suicide wings a lot. The hot here were mild at best. We also ordered mushroom caps which were still frozen inside when we got them. Barely an apology was offered, and nothing to entice us to forget how bad they were. This was the College location, and is often lined up.. I can't understand why.

Stampede Bison Grill

Went there tonight. They are fully licensed now. $3.75 for a 50, $4.50 for guiness, Organic, and beers like that. They also have a Sailor Jerry's Spiced Rum milkshake. Haven't tried it yet.... but it sounds great to me.

Got a Bison Burger with goat cheese, dijon and the freebies. It was cooked to medium. Would have liekd it a little rarer, but hey, it was still very tasty. While I was waiting, another customer got a double order of the yam fries. He ate them there, and then got another double order of the same... I was already wanting to try them..

I will definitely go back.

Blowfish

Has anyone else tried Blowfish on King West?

I just read a review of it that made it sound pretty tasty: http://www.blogto.com/restaurants/blowfish .

Should I make some reservations?

Good Mexican Food in Toronto?

Rebozo'z gets my vote also. Super friendly staff, and delicious authentic food. In fact, I'm going to head there right now...

California Sandwiches

I can only Comment on the one on Dufferin. It is better than Miami Sandwhich on St. Clair, but I would take Vinny's Panini over CS any day for the typical sangwiches.

Lunch at Dufferin & St.Clair

OK, I'm addicted to Vinny's now. A huge serving on the veal sandwhich. I go to the Gem often, I find it a little pricey for what you get, but it is tasty. the beer is kinda stepp though. The tacos at Fajitas were...nowhere near as good as Rebozos, but not bad, as they were cheap, I think I would ahve to try it again, to be sure.

I love the #1 (red curry chicken) at Khemer Thai. They also do a wicked soup.

Thanks for the suggestions Mike. I have had the empanadas at Motivos (down the street from Tita) and they were pretty good, but it's dodgey when they are open. I used to go to the Gospel place for Jerk Chicken, it was good and cheap, but they closed.

I saw a Panini place today called Vinny's Panini that I want to try out (It's down on Dupont & Shaw), it was packed. I tried the tacos at Fajita's; they had a special 3 steak tacos for 5 bucks and they also had bottles of Corona on for 3 bucks, which was a good deal.

Hi,

I live in this area and jsut wanted some fresh ideas for lunch (I find after a while you forget to see places). I have been unimpressed with Marcello's lately, and the Regal Heights Bistro is too expensive. There used to be a little Italian sandwhich place that made their own meats, but it seems to be gone. Miami Sandwhich only has like 5 sandwhiches. I just need some new ideas. A place to go regular, so not expensive, but decent.
