Shops of Saugus - tenants

Yes - MY Trader Joes is leaving Swampscott and taking up new residence in Saugus. Very disappointed

Brunch recommendations in Salem?

I know I'm a day late but in Salem, the Lyceum on Church St has brunch, on Derby Street both In a Pig's Eye and the Witches Brew serve brunch. Cafe Graziani on Washington St has breakfast and Nathaniel's at the Hawthorne Hotel has a pricey jazz brunch.

Salem for Halloween

No one mentioned Gioia on Washington St. Med priced good Italian food. Was there last Thursday and got their dinner for 2 for $22.95 - special menu of about 10 items, salad included as well as 2 glasses of wine. I had chicken marsala that I loved and my husband had chicken, broccoli and ziti and said it was good - not in a heavy cream sauce, but an olive oil/garlic dressing.

Henry's in Beverly

I think they make a very good chicken salad (light on the mayo). They are known for their chopped ham, but I have never tried it.

Vegas Buffet - Wynn or Bellagio?

Just got back and had lunch @ Wynn buffet and dinner next night @ Bellagio. Atmosphere @ Wynn prettier. I have to disagree about service @ Bellagio...I even remember our server's name - Mariano. He was pleasant, accomodating, took our plates at the right time, asked if we wanted drink refills, when he saw we had dessert he he asked if we wanted coffee.

Treasure Island- any good food?

Went to the Steakhouse in TI last year and got a very good meal there. Also have sat in the bar overlooking the casino and Isla for margaritas, nachos and people-watching. All good.

Help, I'm stranded in Salem!

Ristorante Gioia on Washington St. across from Passage to India serves good Italian food. Just celebrated my birthday there and everyone enjoyed their meal from chicken parm to shrimp margarita.

Restaurants with Sox Parking

I have the 10-game season ticket plan and the Prudential parking has been such a savings. It's a bit of a walk, but not bad, lots to look at and some exercise before sitting at Fenway for 3 hours. We sometimes eat at the Cheesecake Factory and then walk to the game..or we walk to Peterborough & eat at Canestaro's, and sometimes if it's a w/e game we go to Game On or Beerworks.

Good Place in Salem MASS Area

Bella Verona - small Italian restaurant across from Hawthorne Hotel. Witches Brew on Derby St. - locals kind of place, steak tips, chicken, couple of seafood entrees on menu. Specials every night. Casual. Passage to India - good Indian food.

Good place for a quiet drink in LV?

For a "swank drink" I would recommend Mix at the top of THEhotel @ Mandalay Bay. The view of the strip is spectacular. We went around 6:30/7:00....it was very quiet...not a lot of people there yet so conversation was easy. If you got there at sundown, when the lights go on the strip, I'll bet it's a wonderful view.

Good brunch north of boston?

Although I haven't been in many years, the brunch at the Hawthorne Hotel in Salem was always special. I think it's a jazz brunch, held in Nathaniels, which is a pretty room.
The Lyceum in Salem also serves brunch. Forget all this! I just saw "Saturday"....I believe these are Sunday only, but worth a phone call to check???

Breakfast in Salem, Peabody, / North Shore

The Village Pancake House in Rowley(I think it's on 1A) and the Century House on 114 in Peabody

Century House Peabody for Breakfast

Have had breakfast there on weekends countless times. The wait is never more than 15 minutes....breakfast is a fast meal. I recommend it...pretty rooms, food is good. I'm partial to their homefries.

Cilantro - Salem

did it close? I walked by around 5 yesterday and it was in darkness

Lunch Help for Lynn or Swampscott?

Cafe Paolina on Humphrey St - in a small strip mall heading toward Marblehead.
BYOB
Homemade, delicious, Italian food.

Lunch in Salem, MA

Can you give me an idea what the menu is like at the Old Spot? I live in Salem, but haven't been downtown in about a month....looking for someplace new and I'm curious about the type of food. Is it a pub style menu? Thanks.
