Looking for a great breakfast place in Ventura/Oxnard area. Heard there was one that won honors from Esquire magazine???

What was the cafateria/buffet-been around for years-reviewed in the LA Times recently? Is it as good as it seems?

For burgers I like Alfie's in Glen Ellyn and Boston Blackies downtown. For pizza Pizzaria Uno but thin crust is fine.

From Chicago-here two years plus. Have yet to have a decent Hamburger or Pizza. Anyone know where I can get a great hamburger or pizza? I've had suggestions like Apple Pan and Toppers which are not even average. If we can't find good stuff here we should open our own place.

I am taking my girlfriend out for a romantic birthday dinner on 1/21. Need a romantic spot with great food in greater Beverly Hills area. Happy to drive 30 minutes.
