Walla Walla Restaurants

I am planning my first trip to Walla Walla in May, and in researching past posts, it looks like Whitehouse Crawford and 26 Brix are the top two restaurants in town. Any other reccomendations?

Polish food in PDX or Willamette Valley?

There is a fabulous Polish sausage and European meat deli in Tigard called Victor's. The owner/sausage maker is a little ornery, but he is generous with tastes of the different sausages. The shelves in the deli are full of jars of saurkrauts and other delights straight from Poland.

First time in Oregon Wine Country

Although some of the bigger wineries may be open year round, it is always wise to call prior to your trip to set up appoinments, even during the "season". The smaller wineries will be much more accomodating for those that plan ahead, as opposed to those that call from the driveway to set up an appointment for right now.

Caterers in PDX

I wouldn't discount using an on-site caterer without checking with a couple first. I often use Simpatica Catering for appetizers, and they always surpass my expectations.
