One Nice Dinner in SD area

Thank you for all the great ideas. We took the recommendation to stay at Hilton Torrey PInes and dined at A.R. Valentien. It was beautiful and the food was great. We had a wonderful time. I look forward to trying some of the other restaurants listed in SD next time I visit.

Considering Truluck's in LJolla but not sure we want to drive that far.
Any suggestions in the SD area for this Saturday night?

Had the best dinner ever in Santa Fe

Have been visiting S.F. for several years and recently tried Galisteo Bistro for the first time.
THE best meal, AND the head chef roams the dining area and chats with the dinner guests.
Each menu item is artfully crafted to create an amazingly flavorful experience. Very delightful.

Dining options between PHX airport and Tucson

Picking up my boss and co-workers at the PHX airport and travelling to Tucson for meetings. Looking for a good dinner place between airport and Tucson. I noticed Charlestons on Warner Road. Would you recommend? Other options?

Colorado Spgs for a week

We are staying at the Broadmoor but would like to venture out and eat with the locals on occasion.
Looking for good breakfast and dinner choices. Anything considered that's not a chain. Was thinking that Guy Fieri had showcased a breakfast place but can't find any info. Have read previous comments; anything new to add?

Estes Park in September

I have searched this board and haven't had much luck finding good chow options in Estes Park. We were planning to stay in Estes three nights but maybe Fort Collins would be a better choice. Would love to see some recs for Estes Park (no chain restaurants) - looking for chow-worthy breakfast and dinner options. Can you find a good wine list in town or does beer rule?

One day in Key West

Looking for rec's for local chow in Key West. We only have the day to sight-see but would love to experience some local chow. Any foodie places that should not be missed? Where do the locals eat?

Panama City - Need recommendations

We will be vacationing in Panama City for three days in October. Would appreciate any recommendations for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We are up to trying anything but always looking for nice dinner selections with a wine list. Touristy or non-touristy, as long as it's good chow.

First time visiting N.O. and Louisiana

Heading to New Orleans for the first time in October. Would appreciate recommendations for restaurants that a tourist shouldn't miss - any meal, any price is fine. Would like nice choices for dinner as well. Will be there three days. Then driving east to Panama City. Any "can't miss" food stops in Louisiana? We're up to trying new things.

Escondido - short review

We actually had a few nice dining experiences in Escondido.

First disappointmet was 150 Grand which I assume has closed for good. We showed up on Halloween night and they were closed but no sign explaining why they weren't there during their normal hours.

So, we ventured across the street to Vincent's. What a pleasant surprise. The chef/owner is an artist with chow. We had a first-rate dinner in a lovely atmosphere.

The French bakery on Grand is also first-rate. Tried the breakfast selections which are served with fruit and choice of their baked goods. Quality stuff.

Champions was also a good choice for a hearty breakfast. They serve up some huge homemade cinnamon rolls that looked yummy.

There is chow to be found in Escondido. Thanks for the rec's.

B.Y.O.W. in San Diego

Any good restaurants in the San Deigo area that allow you to bring your own bottle of wine? Are the corking fees reasonable?

Chow in Escondido?

The hubby and I will be staying at a resort in Escondido for seven days. Although we will venture into San Diego on occasion it would be nice to have some dining options close to where we're staying.

Any recommendations for breakfast, lunch & dinner most appreciated.
A nice wine selection is a major plus. Will consider all price ranges.
