Puerto Rico Lechon around Rio Grande?

I will be in the Rio grande area and looking for lechon asado. Is Ruta del Lechón still the best? I'm looking if anything is closer.
How far is guavate from rio grande by drive?

Also are there any other must try places in the rio grande/fajardo area?

Thanks!

Staying at the El San Juan - New Years Eve restaurant recommendation?

I will be there at 7. There was no mention of a special NYE menu when I spoke to them. Assume it will be a la carte regular menu.

best old school dim sum in Chinatown right now?

you should really do a dim sum bar crawl since all the places are relatively close. lo bak go is my #1 dim sum dish. I would hit up hop shing and nom wah. Ping's on Mott is also pretty good.

Oysters 2010 Paris help

L'ecume is great! 17 euro for the half dozen and glass of wine is a deal! I wasn't too crazy about the sea urchin. Where to go next. Hmmmmmmmm

First Time to Paris - Where do I go? So overwhelmed!

Absolutely true. My kindergarden level French gets me royalty treatment at all restaurants. Don't be the typical fanny pack American demanding an English menu at restaurants. Learn the basic French phrases and you'll be fine. Brush up on what beef, chicken, duck, etc is in French. Respect the French and they'll respect you. We're all human after all.
Better yet. Stay away from tourist traps and you'll be fine. Theres a wealth of info on this site. This site has transformed my past 2 days here in Paris so far. 12 more days of chow hound and Paris! Le cinq tomorrow!

Oysters 2010 Paris help

First I would like to thank everyone on this board for great information! Great to find other people out there that are so passionate about their foods.
I will be in Paris on the second week of October 2010 for 4 days and have compiled a list of Oyster places to hit.
I will be staying in the 11th arr but will travel via metro. Please let me know if I should add any more places to my oyster list. Also any other helpful information regarding to the types of oysters that I should definitely must have. I'm reading a lot about utah beach oysters.
Here is my list.
Pleine Mer 10th arr
La Baron Rouge 12th arr
L 'Ecume St. Honore 1st arr
Garnier 8th arr

Please let me know if I should add/remove any from my list.
All opinions are welcomed!
Thank you

Brunch in Forest Hills

You could try Portofinos which is across the street but the food is disgusting.
East Ocean Palace next to Sam Ash is gret but may not cater to 40 people.
Bon Fire is a block away on austin and 72nd road which may be able to cater the 40 ppl.
Honestly I would travel outside of forest hills for better food options. FH is just garbage.

Have you ever cooked a recipe from a Williams Sonoma catalog?

I used a few of their recipes from their website and was quite satisfied.
Are these different from their catalog?
