Tomato Pie Opens in Silverlake Went there tonight after work and ordered a cheese pie to go and got a tomato slice while I waited. The tomato slice was heaven, reminded me of my favorite grandma slice in NY (Driggs Pizza) only slightly less crispy but still really wonderful. The cheese pie was just so so, but I will be back (many times) for the tomato pie and would recommend that to anyone planing a trip. As for the location, it's not gonna get a ton of people walking in off the street for sure but with the high school down the street and the delicious (and hard to locate in LA) tomato slice it should be around for a while. |

I agree in regard to the Beverly Blvd. location, but I find the Silverlake restaurant to be much better. |

My big question: is Square One owned/operated by the SciFi's? |

Surprised no one has mentioned the B&G at Quality on 3rd st. Though it is not the place to get a plate of chicken fried steak to go with them. |
