Favorite Berkeley Cheapish Dinner?

NYer in Berkeley for medical conference who sadly just learned that cheeseboard, an old favorite, is closed today/tomorrow.

Don't know/remember other places. Your favorites?

Oaxaca, Oaxaca Recs

My girlfriend and I will be going to Oaxaca for 2 1/2 days and I want to make the most of the 5 lunch/dinner meals we'll have. Reviewing past posts the places I'm considering checking out are the following

- Itanioni
- Casa Oaxaca
- La Teca
- Pitiona
- La Olla
- Mercado 20 Noviembre

Any thoughts about either these places or any which I haven't listed but merit a visit would be greatly appreciated!
Also any suggestions for very good, simple comedor corrida places in el centro would be welcome

Thanks in advance

West Indian near Morris Park ie Albert Einstein Weiler hospital in the Bronx

Does anyone have any suggestions for West Indian food in/near Morris Park ie Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Weiler Hospital. I was going to a place called Caribbean cravings on westchester square but it recently shuttered its gates.

Thanks in advance

Best Katsu Don East Village?

I got a disapointing Katsu Don about a year ago at Menkuei Tei on 3rd Ave and 7thish: poor pork quality, and the breading wasn't adhering well to the pork. Anyone know where to get a good Katsu Don

San Francisco's Best Dim Sum?

Hey Chowhounds,
I am a NY chowhound visiting till Sunday night and want a taste for San Francisco's most authentic, tastiest dim sum. Location is not so important, just quality. I'm not scared of dingy chinatown digs, and I'll wake extra early for the city's best. If you could also suggest dishes not to miss at particular restaurants that would also be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Manny
