How to cook beef top of rib roast?
Your help is much appreciated, so I figured I'd milk it for all it's worth (always fun to use the word milk in a thread about beef).
Do you have any favorite recipes? We tend not to be huge fans of the sweet recipes, and usually use a dry red wine and onion marinade for our brisket.

My wife and I went to the kosher store to try a different cut of meat, and picked up about 3.5 pounds of "beef top of rib roast." The guy at the store suggested seasoning it with salt, pepper, and garlic, and cooking it in the oven at 300 for about an hour in a covered roasting pan.
We came home, and were not really able to find many other suggestions online...Does anybody have any advice or suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Kosher food at supermarkets, Merrifield? (moved from DC)
Hi all. Just moved near the Dunn-Loring Merrifield Metro stop and saw that the safeway down the road does not carry kosher meet. Any suggestions as to grocery stores that carry kosher chicken and beef nearby?

51 state the b ar- i apologize. not a street name. i believe it's around 25th and M. where Marshall's bar and grill is.

There is a restaraunt on the walk from Foggy Bottom to Georgetown. it is at the corner accross the street from 51st state and it is an italian place. it is on the corner all by itself and kind of looks like a palace of sorts. i went there with my parents once, and am going to dc with my girlfriend for the weekend. does anybody know the name of the place I am talking about so i can make reservations?
Anniversary in Pittsburgh?
I'm just a poor law student- so I think the Mount Washington Places are out of the question. But i'm looking for a nice place to take my girlfriend for our two year anniversary- any ideas?
