I make this all the time.
MARINADE

Fresh Garlic
Fresh Lime Juice
Tequila
Cumin
Salt & Pepper
Sorry i can't give you quantities. It's all "to taste" and depends on how much meat you have. Just make sure you have enough liquid to get the ingredients to blend well.
Blend all the ingredients in a blender or with an immersion mixer until fairly smooth.
It will be very green.
I marinate the meat for 24 hours minimum, sometimes 48 hours. Then cookl on a very hot grill until it has a good marking on both sides. Finish in the oven until the center reaches around 140. That would be just about medium rare in the center.
You could serve this with a nice homemade salsa if you like.

I had to work on Mother's Day so I need to make it up to Mom. Looking for someplace very nice to take her on Sunday for Breakfast, Brunch or Lunch. She does enjoy a good buffet, but regular menu is fine too. Anywhere convenient to Laguna Woods will work. Price is not an issue.

Saw 2 different flavors of Viennetta at Ralphs on Wilshire and Hauser day before yesterday. I think it was double chocolate and vanilla. They had about 9 or 10 boxes. $3.99 each!

when i lived in soho, in the mid eighties, we strolled over to maison berteaux every sunday for a couple of extraordinary croissants - almond and chocolate. then picked up the sunday papers and back to bed to enjoy our lazy morning. it was one of the many joys of living in soho back then.
