So disapointed in Bouchon- Asheville
Never been disappointed. Michele is a wonderful host. I cannot believe the negative reviews. This is one of the best restaurants on the planet. Try it, folks.

12 Bones rocks. Don't let anybody tell you otherwise. People stand in line, for goodness' sake.
Santa Fe in January
Yes, we'll be in "Fanta Se" next week, for a week. Hope to get some skiing in, but the real excitement is over food. Any recommendations at all....breakfast, lunch, dinner.... toss 'em at us.
10 Best Southern Hotdogs?
BTT
There is another thread like this one that has some of the same places, but it is worth keeping this one alive
10 Best Southern Hotdogs?
Yes, to YumYum in G'boro. Billiard Academy in Thomsaville. GA also a yes.
Duke's in Black Mountain....on old 70, kind of a Santa Fe feel for a roadhouse walk-up.
Awesome dogs "all the way" with chili, onions, mustard. They've got other stuff, but I've never tried it. The owner is worth a look...very easy on the eyes.
Three nights in NYC this week... help!
Thanks so much, posters! We're packing our stuff and getting excited. New York, IMO, is Disneyland for adults.

By the way, I just made reservations at Mas and Goblin Market for Wednesday and Thursday night. Still have Friday night to fill and I'm leaning to Wolfgang's Steakhouse, but I can be talked out of it.

Hmmmm. Lunch.... don't want to spend a fortune, but DO want a true NYC experience....not a chain, not a greasy spoon. Did Corner cafe in the Village years ago.... cool little place, great jukebox. We'll eat anything. Ideas? many thanks! We're hicks from Nawth Carolina.

Thanks, folks, for the good tips. Know any good lunch places in Midtown?....we'll arrive hungry.

I've posted elsewhere on the boards about this, but it appears I might have better luck with the Mahattan board. My wife and I will be in town Wednesday night (to see Martin Short in his new play) and plan on going out for a late dinner... also, we're looking for restaurants on Thursday and Friday nights. We've done Gramercy, Gotham, Tribeca Grill, Balthazar, Cafe des Artistes, River Cafe... any new places of interest? We like anything and budget is not an issue. Many thanks!
