3 days in Lisbon
I'm intrigued, but could you tell me what the actual name of the restaurant is ('Mexicain' isn't a Portuguese construction, and I've googled it & variants and can find nothing) or its address?
one meal in Lisbon!
Hi. In Lisbon, it's all happening in the 'Bairro Alto' district- I would recommend hieing yourself there by cab (cabs are cheap in Lisbon). There are loads of bars and restaurants there, the best of which, for traditional but classy eating, has to be 'Papa Açorda' (Rua da Atalaia, n.57-59). All the BEST people go there, dahling.
If you're looking for something more laid back, there's a restaurant & wine bar called 'Sul' also in the Bairro (Rua do Norte, n.13), which is foreign-owned, with a more international flavour to the menu. But, really, I recommend just wandering around the area to soak up the vibe, during which time you're bound to find something, if those two aren't to your liking.
Hope this helps, -R
