Restaurants near Hilton on O'Farrell Coming up from Santa Barbara for an interview and looking for good food (not super expensive - we're parents of college kids) near the Hilton for early Friday dinner (we leave home at 4AM) and Saturday breakfast. Open to any cuisine and would like to avoid tourist mobs. Oh and any recommendations on a less expensive parking garage to leave our car in the neighborhood would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

Restaurants around the Sheraton Society Hill Ava's looks terrific! Thank You! We'll also try Kabul and Campo's. Is there a good pizza place nearby for us to try east coast pies? And my husband would really like to find a Pennslyvania Dutch or German restaurant - a sort of classic place. Any suggestions for Chinatown? |

Restaurants around the Sheraton Society Hill We're going to visit Philadelphia late this month and would like to find good restaurants within walking distance of our hotel since we will not rent a car. As we're from Santa Barbara, we'd especially like to try regional cuisine or typically Philadelphian in some way. We also love all sorts of ethnic food. Thank you. |

Looking for Suggestions for Dinner after the Army Navy Game Thank you for your suggestions. As my Mid and his friends are not of drinking age - a BYOB for us parents would be great. With the new airline restrictions I doubt if we'll be bringing any Santa Barbara wines with us. Is there a wine shop or liquour store near our hotel? I will try and pin my son down on number of friends and make my reservation soon. I'm sure the city will be hopping for the game. |

Looking for Suggestions for Dinner after the Army Navy Game Our Midshipman son has got us tickets for the game so we'll be attending this year. It's a special treat for us to see him as well as the game because we live across the country in Santa Barbara, CA. We'd like to take him and some of his friends out for dinner after the game so are looking for a place that's not too expensive - our son loves just about any cuisine but says he thinks that Italian or something American/regional is safe option for a diverse group of Mids. Oh, and we're staying at the Sheraton Society Hill and will be traveling by public transportation. Thank You! |
