Your favorite recipes using Trader Joe's products
This is the easiest "recipe" ever... TJ's salsa verde over frozen chicken thighs and cook in crockpot on low for 7-8 hours. We also tried this with country ribs (browned first) last night - it was delicious.
Looking for Pasadena location with a private room (40 people)

Sakae Sushi - great "comfort" sushi in Gardena
thanks for posting! my mom who is of japanese descent and is a very picky eater LOVES Sakae. i started to bring Sakae's sushi to our family events a few months ago and my mom positively lights up. it's definitely old school sushi but it's good quality and i do like their slightly sweet rice.
Please help a new mom who's new to cooking too
I'm not sure if anyone posted this website but it's a blog of a woman who used her crockpot every day for an entire year.

Suggestions for Anniversary Dinner?
Hi Hounds - Hubby and I are going to celebrate our 3rd anniversary in the next week... we love food but are watching our pocketbook as well. Do you have any suggestions for a place with a nice atomsphere, good food, and won't break the bank ($15-$30 entrees)? We love meat/seafood, Italian, Asian... almost anything except Indian (just not a favorite of ours).
Many thanks!!!
Asian dining in Torrance/Gardena/Lomita?
Kotosh at Kamiyama in Lomita is a Peruvian-Japanese place with excellent sushi as well.
Il Chianti also in Lomita is a Japanese-Italian place with unusual pasta dishes.
We also like Shisen Ramen (in Torrance) with their semi-spicy broth and excellent (albeit tiny) gyoza.

recipes for cooking for a group of 20-25 people (mostly teens)??
Hello! We are going to be hosting a group of 20-25 people on a monthly basis, most of whom are teens.
Any ideas on recipes for dinner on a budget would be most appreciated. I've already purchased about 5 lbs of ground beef for this month's dinner so if you have ideas on using this meat, that would be really helpful. I was thinking of a taco bar to start off this month.
But any other ideas for future months would be great too.
TIA!!

I bought a big bag of sweet potatoes and am not sure what to do with them besides baked sweet potato fries. We don't care for the casserole with sugar or marshmallows or syrup on top.
Does anyone have any recipes for savory recipes? TIA as always, Hounds!!

We will be traveling to a national park about 7 hours away from us and will be staying in a motel with no microwave. The eats in the area aren't that great and we want to watch our pennies. We are thinking about bringing along a hot plate and a pan/pot to heat up some food. Do you have any ideas for what we can bring along with us in a cooler to heat up from some meals? TIA!!

south bay places - food for wedding party so they won't starve
Hello Hounds- I'm involved in helping out with a friend's wedding in the South Bay. I thought I would pick up some food and bring it to the wedding party and others who will be getting ready in the morning for the 10am wedding. Do you have any suggestions of where to go in the South Bay and what to bring? I thought easy to pick-up and eat foods that are not too messy - like sandwiches...? Do you know anyone who makes a good sandwich tray?
TIA!
