Solo in Tokyo... Is eating alone taboo?
Do not fear! That is almost the way of life in Japan. My mom eats alone or go to movies alone sometimes. You will see plenty of men eating alone too. It is sometimes too hard to schedule things in busy city. But try to avoid clubs/bar type places to dine alone (I mean younger crowd bars - not izakaya- izakaya: you are better alone)

Not a breakfast item- but they have the best ribs and fried chicken

That is a shame that Uni spagetti went down on quality... I had one in Japan and it is sooo good.. I agree with Hide- price is reasonable so you can enjoy the dining experience

hmmm.. toaster oven would be an idea! I am guessing it is just a smaller version of the big oven?? - ie it does the same job? (yes, in case you are wondering... I have used toaster oven before- never baked anything in there)

Thank you for the great comments- I have to agree with you hrhboo that parsley rich ones are traditional - it is hard to find the fresh ones that are actually green (parsley) not those that started to turn yellowish from being in lemon juice for few days...
