Believe it or not the Aldi carries Jaffa-like cakes BUT they are Made In Germany and are quite good.They are currently out of stock as I checked today.
Coromandel Comes To Fairfield
It is a less than ideal location however I assume the rent is cheap so they will be able to deliver great food at reasonable prices.These guys are shrewd,if there is an economic downturn they will survive-not so sure about the rest of the restaurants in downtown Fairfield.

Big Mistake.Chef counts far more than location-plenty of parking makes it ideal.Try the lunch buffet particularly on Fri.

absolutely nothing.However for dinner the River Street Cafe in Downtown Milford is very good and reasonably priced.Prices include salad and the owner cooks all entrees.Just like the old days!BYOB.

Same food but a lot cheaper.It really works if you need to go to Costco,LL Bean or Christmas Tree store.I have been to all Coromandels and I think the best chef is here.

Both of these are Ok but IMO the Coromandel in Milford is far superior.As an added bonus it is substantially cheaper.They have a Lunch buffet that cannot be beat.

Food is Good to Very Good but I say Tavolinis down the road is better.However I have never seen screaming children running around ruining every ones dinner which is a common to the establishments in Fairfield and environs.Come to think of it Coppia caters to an adult crowd of 30 and over IMO.

Amerigo Cafe.Exit 39 near Motor Vehicle Office.Was excellent but have not been there for a few years as I no longer live nearby.Pizza was very good also.
Five Guys Burgers in Orange, CT
Tried this place out on the advice of friends from N.Y..IMO the burger was OK but nothing to rave about.Pretty typical fast food stuff.The fries were also OK but once again I would not go out of my way for them.For me it makes no sense to go there again because right down the street is Coromandel which has a gourmet lunch buffet cooked by a real chef.For the same price it is a no-brainer.
