Radhika's in south pasadena
We heard about Radhika on a Saturday and visited the next night as Indian food is our fave.
Decided to sit in the lounge, like the "vibe" better and the B & W Bollywood flics on the flat screet. Had a most amazing Fish Curry and Lamb dish, both excellent and as we drove back to the Westside, we were already planning our next visit. No traffic on a Sunday evening makes for a fast, easy drive.

tried it, expected a flattened, breaded dish
instead it's bigger chunky pieces & breaded,
was OK, tasted liked chicken!

Is Soon Tofu gluten free?
Soon Tofu will be a "land mine" for someone avoiding gluten,
their soy sauce, which is used like salt, will be in 99% of what you are served.
My gluten-free amigo carries cards written in different languages to give to chefs/cooks
which address the gluten-free diet, and usually ends up w/ a bowl of rice and very plain
steamed veg!

What's happened at Test Kitchen?
We also had booked for last Sunday's North African dinner,
the menu looked great. They cancelled so that a director they wanted
to film their proposed reality show could work w/ them on Sunday.
Was told they would re-schedule the dinner.

A Carnivore's Dilemma: Eating at a Vegan Restaurant
with a name like VEGGIE GRILL very little amount of vegetables being offered.
Name of the fake-meat / veg-protein they serve is Gardein, from Canada.
Lots of frying goin' on and their buns & bread leave nothing 2b desired. IMO.

take them to THE LOBSTER, if you can get a reservation,
get a window table w/ view of ferris wheel++

Stopped by today @ 6, 4 trucks were there and they were happy w/ today's turnout,
there IS parking for customers in the lot, there was also a news truck about to do a
live report. Good vibe, not very crowded. INDIA JONZE chicken Frankie ordered spicy
and a combo Lamb curry / Sag Veg curry w/ Ital Lemon Soda: total $11, NICE!
Babycakes of NYC opened - Downtown Los Angeles Today
We were there late opening day, only cupcakes and banana bread avail,
it was fine, similar to what we get when in NYC, and will go back for donuts
and jam-filled biscuits. BABYCAKES is not for everyone, it's VEGAN baking,
void of butter, white sugar, white flour, eggs and cream, all ingredients that
every other highly touted bakery uses in excess. You are what you eat.
Pleasantly surprised to see the steady stream of LA BABYCAKES customers.
