All the bars I tend to love are in Brooklyn.

Could anyone recommend some spots for drinks in Manhattan? (Oh ok - list the Brooklyn ones too, I'd love to know more!)

Ideally, an outside patio (I know it is a stretch) - but somewhere just nice, pleasant, not too noisy on a Sunday night.
