A great, cheap place to grab lunch in Watertown?
My favorite place to grab a wholesome, inexpensive lunch ($6-$8) (with fast service)is Uncommon Grounds on Mt. Auburn Street in Watertown. You can either sit in or take out. Try the crabcakes and shrimp over a caesar salad -excellent! There are lots of veggie sandwich options including a veggie stir fry wrap or veggie burger wrap.
You can also order any item off the breakfast menu until closing (2pm) so I sometimes go in for an omelet or breakfast burrito.

If you're looking for a great but casual breakfast and lunch place, definitely visit Uncommon Grounds in Watertown. This place is hopping and fun on weekends and the food is quite extraordinary. Their eggs benedict is scrumptious (but only served on weekends) and their pancakes are the best around. My fussy kids love most things on the menu. They serve the best burritos around, all fresh ingredients, and great sandwiches (try the reubens or pastrami and swiss)and homemade soups. There is something for everyone.
